How to activate your BC Retro Turn Signals on your Liquid Cooled Triumph Motorcycle - British Customs

This guide is a step by step guide on how to activate your aftermarket turn signals and adjust the flash rate on your Liquid Cooled Triumph Motorcycle.  If your turn signals are not working or the rate they flash rate is to slow or fast.  Follow the steps below to rectify the issue.   

Applies to the following motorcycles:

  • Street Cup
  • Street Scrambler
  • Street Twin
  • Bonneville T100 Liquid
  • Bonneville T120/Black
  • Bonneville Bobber/Black
  • Bonneville Speedmaster
  • Thruxton 1200/R

1 - Ensure the ignition key is in the off position

2 -  Press and hold down the "i" button on the left-hand switch housing

3 - While holding down the "i" button, turn on the ignition. Do not release the "i" button

4 -  Continue to hold down the "i" button until the instrument panel displays the type of indicator programmed in the system.  

5 - Release the "i" button

6 - Press and release the "i" button until to select "type 1-4"

7 - To store the new setting, press and hold down the "i" button until the "type" is not shown on the instrument panel.

8 - Check that all indicators, front and rear, function correctly.  If the turn signals do not function, repeat steps 1-7.
